The sides, away from the guide rail channel, of the ascending braking friction block and the descending braking friction block abut against the caliper body through elastic pressure-bearing pieces correspondingly. An elastic element extending in the longitudinal direction of the caliper body is arranged between the ascending brake friction block and the descending brake friction block. According to the bidirectional safety tongs, different friction blocks are adopted during upward braking and downward braking, the problem that the upward braking friction block and the downward braking friction block avoid each other is solved through the elastic element, and meanwhile reliable reset can be achieved with small force after the friction blocks avoid.
