The invention provides an unmanned aerial vehicle safety landing gear for overwater field investigation, which comprises a shell, an unmanned aerial vehicle body, an unmanned aerial vehicle body and a control system, the clamping assembly comprises a clamping structure and a connecting structure; the clamping structure is arranged outside the shell and used for clamping or releasing the unmanned aerial vehicle; the connecting structure is connected with the clamping structure, one part of the connecting structure is arranged in the containing cavity, and the connecting structure is used for synchronously driving the clamping structure to move when the connecting structure moves; the adjusting assembly comprises a traction structure and a reset structure which are arranged in the accommodating cavity; the traction structure is connected with the connecting structure; the traction structure is used for applying an acting force to the connecting structure under the action of an external force so as to drive the clamping structures to get close to each other to clamp the unmanned aerial vehicle; the reset structure is connected with the connecting structure; the reset structure is used for applying acting force to the connecting structure when the external force borne by the traction structure is relieved so as to drive the clamping structures to be away from each other to release the unmanned aerial vehicle. The unmanned aerial vehicle can safely take off and land in the air without depending on the ground.
