The invention discloses a solar wing for a satellite, and the solar wing comprises a support which is used for connecting a main body of the satellite; the sailboard comprises a plurality of photovoltaic panels and a plurality of inter-panel hinges, the two photovoltaic panels on the outermost side are defined as a near-end panel and a far-end panel respectively, and the near-end panel is arranged on the support; and the releasing device is pressed. The pressing and releasing device comprises a releasing mechanism which is fixed on the main body of the satellite and abuts against the near-end plate; and a tensioning mechanism. The tensioning mechanism comprises a pressing component connected with the far-end plate; the rigid pull rod comprises a first end part which can be pulled by the releasing mechanism and a second end part which penetrates through the pressing part and each photovoltaic panel; the first limiting piece is arranged at the second end of the rigid pull rod and abuts against the pressing component. When the releasing mechanism releases the rigid pull rod, the releasing mechanism and the tensioning mechanism relieve limitation on the sailboard, and the sailboard is changed into an unfolded state from a folded state under the action of the inter-board hinge. The solar wing can reduce the risk that the sailboard is unfolded in advance before reaching the space.
