The invention discloses an urban road network traffic jam spatio-temporal evolution mode visual analysis and extraction method, which comprises the following steps of: dividing a research road network into grid blocks with the same size according to GIS (Geographic Information System) latitude and longitude information of the research road network, studying and judging the traffic state of each grid block at each time interval, analyzing the number of road network jam blocks at each time interval, and determining the traffic state of each grid block at each time interval; constructing a road network congestion block change diagram, defining a traffic congestion spatio-temporal evolution period existing in the analysis time period according to the form of the road network congestion block quantity index in the analysis time period and traffic congestion spatio-temporal evolution period characteristics, and identifying an independent congestion area in each time interval; the method comprises the following steps: identifying independent congestion spatio-temporal evolution branches, extracting connected branches as identified independent congestion spatio-temporal evolution branches, constructing a traffic congestion spatio-temporal evolution diagram on the basis of the extracted independent congestion spatio-temporal evolution branches in combination with a traffic congestion spatio-temporal evolution diagram definition symbol, and extracting traffic congestion spatio-temporal evolution characteristics and modes in the constructed traffic congestion spatio-temporal evolution diagram.

    本发明公开了城市路网交通拥堵时空演化模式可视化分析与提取方法,依据研究路网的GIS经纬度信息,将研究路网划分为大小相等的网格区块,对每一时间间隔的各个网格区块的交通状态进行研判,分析每一时间间隔内路网拥堵区块数量,构建路网拥堵区块变化图,依据路网拥堵区块数量指标在分析时间周期内的形态和交通拥堵时空演化周期特征界定分析时间周期内存在的交通拥堵时空演化周期,辨识其每一时间间隔内的独立拥堵区域,提取连通分支作为辨识出的独立拥堵时空演化分支,基于提取的独立拥堵时空演化分支,结合交通拥堵时空演化图定义符号,构建交通拥堵时空演化图,提取所构建的交通拥堵时空演化图中交通拥堵时空演化特征及模式。
