The invention relates to a password ignition switch which comprises a lock body, one end of the lock body is provided with an indicating cover capable of rotating to a plurality of working gears, the other end of the lock body is connected with a rear cover, a lock cylinder is arranged in the lock body, one end of the lock cylinder is connected with the indicating cover, the other end of the lock cylinder is connected with a rotating shaft, a sliding block is arranged on the rotating shaft, and one end of the sliding block is connected with a plunger latch. The other end, opposite to the end connected with the lock cylinder, of the rotating shaft is sleeved with a rotor and a wiring board, a reset spring capable of driving the lock cylinder and the rotating shaft to slide and reset is arranged between the rotor and the rotating shaft, a limiting block is arranged at the end, facing the indicating cover, of the lock cylinder, and a password switch device is arranged on the limiting block. A limiting block is arranged at the end, facing the indicating cover, of the lock cylinder, a password switch device is arranged on the limiting block, passwords of the password switch device can promote the limiting block and the lock cylinder to rotate in the circumferential direction, a limiting assembly is arranged on the lock body, and the limiting assembly can promote the limiting block to rotate in the axial direction.
