The heat pump system (1) comprises a refrigerant circuit (2) comprising a second sub-circuit (9b) and a first sub-circuit (9a) with a low-pressure accumulator (10). According to the invention, the refrigerant circuit (2) comprises a valve device (17), the first sub-circuit (9a) and the second sub-circuit (9b) being fluidically connected to one another solely by means of the valve device (17).
