In the driving process of the vehicle, the nearest distance between the environment vehicle and the center line of the lane where the vehicle is located is obtained in real time, when the nearest distance is smaller than a nearest distance threshold value obtained in advance, it is determined that the environment vehicle has the influence on the safety of the vehicle, and the environment vehicle needs to be determined as the vehicle needing to be concerned by the vehicle; the vehicle is a target vehicle. According to the method, the target vehicle is determined from the environmental vehicles, the situation that the vehicle excessively pays attention to the environmental vehicles which do not affect the safety of the vehicle can be avoided, and the situation that the target vehicle is missed to be selected due to the fact that the target vehicle is selected too conservatively can be avoided.     本申请公开了一种目标车辆选择方法及装置,包括:根据环境车辆的位置信息,确定环境车辆到本车车辆所在车道中心线的最近距离阈值。环境车辆为本车车辆行驶的同向车道上的本车车辆的前方车辆。在本车车辆行驶过程中,实时获取环境车辆到本车车辆所在车道中心线的最近距离,当最近距离小于预先获取的最近距离阈值时,确定该环境车辆对本车车辆存在安全上的影响,需要将该环境车辆确定为本车车辆需要关注的车辆,即目标车辆。从环境车辆中确定目标车辆,能够避免本车车辆过多关注对本车车辆不会造成安全上影响的环境车辆,还能避免选择目标车辆过于保守而导致目标车辆漏选的情况。基于目标车辆的位置信息,进行本车车辆的横纵向控制。
