The invention discloses an improved sparrow search algorithm-based short-term traffic flow prediction method, device and medium, the method is applied to an improved sparrow search algorithm-based short-term traffic flow prediction system comprising a short-term traffic flow prediction model, and the method comprises the steps of obtaining traffic flow data of a to-be-predicted road; and processing the traffic flow data through a short-time traffic flow prediction model to obtain a traffic flow prediction result of the to-be-predicted road, the short-time traffic flow prediction model being generated based on an improved sparrow search algorithm and long and short term memory neural network training. Through the method, when the traffic flow is subjected to short-time prediction, the prediction speed can be increased to a certain extent, and the prediction precision can be improved.
