The light rare earth element separant is prepared by the following steps: generating unsaturated carboxylic acid soap from light rare earth metal oxide, dicarboxylic acid and unsaturated carboxylic acid ligand, and then performing graft polymerization on the unsaturated carboxylic acid soap and a linear chain segment [-PS-BR-] n synthesized by taking lithium alkyl as an initiator and styrene and butadiene as reaction monomers under the initiation action of peroxide; wherein PS is a homopolymer block of styrene; bR is a homopolymer block of 1, 3-butadiene; n is a positive integer greater than 1; according to the invention, the problems that the nano white carbon black is easy to agglomerate and agglomerates again in the blending processing process are solved, and the problems that the binding force between the nano white carbon black and the solution polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber matrix is poor and the dispersion is uneven are also solved.
