An autonomous vehicle includes a control device having a programmable unit and a surround sensor device. The control device receives a sensor signal of a surrounding area of the vehicle acquired by the surrounding sensor device and a communication signal originating from at least one partner body. The control device determines a contextual context based on the database information and converts the captured communication signal into a control signal for the autonomously controllable vehicle function based on the contextual context.
