The invention belongs to the field of berth allocation, and particularly discloses a port berth allocation method based on a two-dimensional encasement problem, which comprises the following steps: S1, acquiring ship and port berth information, abstracting ships and port berths into two-dimensional rectangles, and constructing a port berth allocation scheme; s2, based on the ship in-port time, establishing an objective function model; s3, setting multiple constraint conditions of the port berth allocation scheme; if any constraint condition does not meet the requirement, re-optimizing the objective function model; and S4, under the condition that all constraint conditions are met, solving the target model to obtain an optimal solution of the port berth allocation scheme. The method has the advantages that reasonable berth distribution can improve the production efficiency of the container wharf and reduce the time of ships on the port, so that the competitiveness of the container wharf is improved.
