The invention relates to an integrated drag reduction system for a vehicle during towing. An awny small cargo truck includes: a passenger compartment; a cargo compartment operatively coupled to the passenger compartment; and a selectively deployable drag reduction system mounted at the cargo bed. A selectively deployable drag reduction system includes a fluid director displaceable between a non-deployed configuration and a deployed configuration. In the deployed configuration, the deflector is exposed to airflow passing over an open awny small cargo truck.
