The invention relates to an intelligent charging system and control logic for crowdsourcing vehicle energy transfer. An intelligent charging system for transferring energy to and from a motor vehicle, a method for manufacturing/operating such a system, and a vehicle with V2V and V2G energy transfer capabilities are presented. A method for operating an intelligent charging system includes a system controller receiving, from a user interface of a user, a request to schedule electrical transmission to the user. A system controller broadcasts a collection of energy transfer bids to a set of crowdsourced service providers to complete a user's transfer request. Upon receipt of a plurality of bid submits from a plurality of service providers in order to complete the transmission request, the system controller uses a multi-standard selection policy to select an optimized one of the bid submits. The multi-standard selection strategy includes a joint utility maximization function and/or a trade-off Pareto solution. The system controller transmits a task assignment with instructions to provide a transmission request to a service provider associated with the optimized bid commit.
