Relates to a rubber composition and rubber; the rubber composition is based on at least one or more diene rubbers, zinc oxide, a plasticizer, carbon black and modified white carbon black, wherein the modified white carbon black is prepared by modifying white carbon black with a reinforced silane coupling agent; the surface hydroxyl grafting density of the modified white carbon black is lower than 19 [mu] mol/m < 2 >; the tensile strength of rubber prepared from the rubber composition is higher than 30 MPa, and the 100% stress at definite elongation is higher than 2.5 MPa; the preparation method of the rubber comprises the following steps: adding the diene rubber, the zinc oxide and the plasticizer into an open mill for mixing, then adding the modified white carbon black and the carbon black, uniformly mixing, heating and mixing, standing to room temperature, then adding the accelerant, the anti-aging agent and the sulfur, uniformly mixing, thin-passing, discharging, cooling and vulcanizing to obtain the rubber. The rubber prepared by the invention has excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance and aging resistance.
