The invention relates to a tire rotation direction determination system. Even if the vehicle is in a constant-speed driving state, the tire rotation direction can be determined. A tire rotation direction determination system is provided with: a detection device disposed on each of two tires connected in a mutually inverted state; and a monitoring means. The detection device has a first detector that detects a first acceleration (G1) in the radial direction of the tire, and a second detector that detects a second acceleration (G2) in the radial direction of the tire. The first detector is disposed in front of the second detector in the reference direction. The monitoring unit determines a temporal change in the first acceleration (G1) and a temporal change in the second acceleration (G2) when the first acceleration (G1) and the second acceleration (G2) are received from the detection device while the vehicle is traveling in the forward direction. And determines whether or not the direction of rotation of the tire in which the detection device is disposed is a reference direction on the basis of whether or not the temporal change in the first acceleration (G1) exceeds the temporal change in the second acceleration (G2).
