The invention relates to an EPS steering gear adopting roller worm and gear transmission, when an input shaft rotates, an angle sensor can detect the change of an angle, and a motor controller calculates the current and the rotating speed of a motor needing to be controlled according to an angle signal so as to drive the motor to rotate. The rotating motion of the motor is transmitted to the input end through the first-stage speed reducing mechanism and the second-stage speed reducing mechanism, and EPS assistance is completed. Wherein the second-stage speed reducing mechanism adopts a roller worm wheel and a worm for transmission, and a roller of the roller worm wheel is in a rotating state and is small in frictional resistance when transmitting motion and torque, so that the second-stage speed reducing mechanism has very high transmission efficiency. Meanwhile, the roller worm gear and the worm are in transmission and contact with each other, the number of teeth is seven (the number of common worm gear and worm transmission contact teeth is 2-3), the strength is greatly improved, the product weight can be effectively reduced, and the part strength can be effectively improved.

    本发明涉及一种采用滚子蜗轮蜗杆传动的EPS转向器,输入轴转动时,角度传感器可检测到角度的变化,电机控制器根据角度信号,计算出需要控制电机的电流和转速,来驱动电机旋转。电机的旋转运动,经第一级减速机构和第二级减速机构,传递到输入端,完成EPS助力。其中,第二级减速机构,采用滚子蜗轮与蜗杆传动,滚子蜗轮滚子在传递运动和扭矩于,处于转动状态,摩擦阻力小,因此具有很高的传动效率。同时,滚子蜗轮与蜗杆传动,接触的齿为7个(普通的蜗轮蜗杆传动接触齿为2‑3个),强度大大提高,可有效的减少产品重量和提升零件强度。
