A vehicle headrest with multi-actuator capability includes a headrest support and a multi-cam release mechanism mounted to the headrest support. The multi-cam release mechanism includes a first cam and a second cam. The headrest shell member is pivotally mounted to the headrest support by a multi-cam release mechanism. An actuator is mounted to the headrest shell member. The actuator includes a first actuator portion operable to disengage the multi-cam release mechanism based on a first input and a second actuator portion operable to disengage the multi-cam release mechanism based on a second input different from the first input, thus, the vehicle headrest with multi-actuator capability is allowed to switch between an unfolded configuration and a folded configuration.
