A vehicle, or a mobile device within or near the vehicle, may have multiple sensors to authenticate a passenger or driver of the vehicle in different ways, such as fingerprinting, facial recognition, voice fingerprint recognition, iris scanning, etc. Moreover, non-biometric factors may be used to authenticate the passenger or driver of the vehicle, such as MAC address, RFID, username and password, PIN, etc. Further, network-attached security assets accessed by a vehicle may be included within the vehicle, such as an authentication-enabled modem within the vehicle. Also, the authentication may be in accordance with a zero-trust framework structure or networking method. Some or all of such credentials and authentication factors or methods may individually fail at least in part under various conditions. An intelligent system utilizing intelligent multi-factor authentication may combine such information to more reliably determine the identity of the passenger and/or driver.
