The invention discloses a bidirectional green wave coordination control method, and relates to the technical field of traffic. The phase difference between the forward absolute phase difference of each intersection and the forward absolute phase difference of the last intersection is used as an inverse forward absolute phase difference, and then the phase difference between the inverse absolute phase difference of each intersection and the inverse forward absolute phase difference is calculated to obtain a green wave time difference; and the phase duration of each phase can be determined through phase disassembly in combination with the green wave time difference of any intersection. According to the method, the phase difference, the phase sequence and the phase composition between different intersections can be calculated through a mathematical modeling method, so that timing calculation can be quickly completed, and bidirectional green wave control is efficiently realized.
