The invention provides a traffic stop early response system. A traffic stop advance response system includes a distributed computing system controller programmed and/or configured to reduce travel time delays caused by predictable instances of traffic stops associated with public vehicle traffic. A traffic stop advance response system may obtain a public vehicle schedule and route associated with a first intersection or intersection, predict an estimated time of arrival of a public vehicle at the intersection, and determining a time delay associated with the public carrier vehicle passing through the intersection based on the estimated time of arrival at the intersection. The stop-of-traffic advance response system may generate a navigation plan that routes a delayed vehicle before it reaches an intersection by predicting the time of arrival of the public vehicle. The predictive analysis may determine the time of arrival using a public vehicle database and/or observed real-time information received via an infrastructure computing system network, a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and/or a vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) network, and other sources.
