The invention provides a rearview mirror structure which can well reduce the width of a vehicle when a mirror is stored, suppress vibration of the mirror when the vehicle travels, and improve visibility when the vehicle is viewed from a cabin. The rearview mirror structure comprises a rearview mirror main body part (11); a mirror base (12) having a front end portion (12b) fixed to the mirror main body portion and a base end portion (12a) separated from the front end portion (12b), the base end portion (12a) being attached to the side door (1) so that the mirror main body portion (11) and the mirror base (12) can move between a mirror use position at which the mirror (14) can be seen from the cabin with the naked eye and a storage position located on the inner side of the mirror use position in the vehicle width direction; a drive unit (13) that moves the mirror main body (11) and the mirror base (12) between a mirror use position and a storage position; the drive unit (13) is disposed on the side door (1).
