The invention relates to a base plate (10) for contacting at least one electrical pin arranged in a housing (300) of a charging inlet of an electric or hybrid vehicle, wherein the base plate (10) is configured to move along a locking direction (L) from an unlocked position into a locked position. The substrate (10) is also provided with a lead frame (100) comprising at least one contact pin extending in a mating direction (M), the mating direction (M) being perpendicular to the locking direction (L). The invention also relates to an assembly (200) of such a substrate (10) and housing (300) and a method of assembling them.
