The invention discloses an escalator braking method and device. The escalator braking method comprises the steps that S1, a speed measuring sensor detects gear pulses; s2, the main board receives the pulse and controls a frequency converter; and S3, the frequency converter controls the motor to achieve escalator braking, the device matched with the method comprises a main board and the motor, the frequency converter and a speed measuring sensor are arranged between the main board and the motor, the frequency converter and the speed measuring sensor are both connected with the main board, the motor is connected with the frequency converter, and the speed measuring sensor is connected with the frequency converter. The frequency converter controls the rotor of the motor to cut the static magnetic field to generate the braking torque, the braking torque can be set and changed through the frequency converter, the situation that the escalator suddenly slides when the escalator stops can be dealt with, and accidents of personnel due to escalator sliding are avoided.

    本发明公开了一种扶梯制动方法及装置,扶梯制动方法步骤包括:S1测速传感器检测齿轮脉冲;S2主板接收脉冲并控制变频器;S3变频器控制电机实现扶梯制动,而与该方法相适配的装置包括主板和电机,所述主板和电机之间设有变频器和测速传感器,所述变频器和测速传感器均与主板相连接,所述电机和变频器相连接,本发明通过变频器控制电机的转子切割静止的磁场产生制动转矩,制动力矩可通过变频器设置改变,能够应对停运扶梯突然滑动的情况,避免人员因为扶梯滑动发生事故。
