The invention provides a range extender generated power control method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of vehicle control. The method comprises the steps that the absolute value of the accumulated variable quantity of the electric quantity of a battery in the current period is determined, and when the absolute value of the accumulated variable quantity is larger than a first set threshold value, the range extender is started; according to the method, the accumulative variable quantity of the electric quantity of the battery in the set period can be monitored, and if the accumulative variable quantity of the electric quantity of the battery in the set period exceeds a set threshold value, the range extender is controlled to work at the target generated power, and if the accumulative variable quantity of the electric quantity of the battery in the set period exceeds the set threshold value, the range extender is controlled to work at the target generated power. If yes, the generated power of the range extender is corrected in time so as to reduce fluctuation of the battery capacity caused by differences between vehicles and road conditions, and the battery capacity is maintained to be close to the set target value.
