The present disclosure provides "bi-directional energy transfer systems and methods providing improved home temporary load support". Systems and methods may coordinate and provide bi-directional energy transfer events between a motorized vehicle and a household or other structure, e.g., such as for supporting temporary loads associated with the household/structure. Vehicle information, driving habit information, and home information may be utilized to provide improved temporary load capacity control that allows for increased appliance usage without increasing energy cost. The proposed system/method may particularly allow bidirectional energy transfer support for high-load appliances to increase comfort, pleasure, and convenience for the user.
