An electric motor cooling system is provided that utilizes stator-integrated axial coolant passages and coolant manifolds centrally located within the stator to effectively remove heat from an electric motor assembly. To improve uniformity of end winding cooling, two or more end laminations are included at either end of the stator assembly that limit and direct coolant out of the axial coolant channels.
