The invention relates to a rubber composition based on more than 50 phr of a copolymer comprising ethylene units and 1, 3-diene units, the ethylene units in the copolymer making up more than 50 mol% of the monomer units in the copolymer, a filler comprising carbon black making up more than 50 wt% of the filler, and a crosslinking system comprising 1, 3-diene units, the crosslinking system comprising 1, 3-diene units and 1, 3-diene units. Wherein the volume fraction of the filler is greater than 19%. The invention also relates to rubber articles comprising the composition, such as pneumatic tires, non-pneumatic tires, tracks and conveyor belts.
