In order to improve the safety technology level of a freight vehicle body, the method is realized by means of a camera installed on the vehicle and a processing unit provided with a vehicle whole vehicle mass estimation system. The processing unit estimates the mass of the whole freight vehicle by calculating the area, occupied by the white dotted line graph captured by the camera in the running process of the vehicle, in the whole picture, the mass data of the whole freight vehicle can be obtained only through the camera and a software system, and the hardware cost is very low; and the camera can be a camera carried by other auxiliary driving systems in the vehicle, so that the material resource cost for estimating the mass of the whole vehicle is basically zero.
基于图像识别的货运车辆整车质量估算方法,为了提升货运车辆本体安全技术水平,所述的方法借助车辆上安装的摄像头以及装有车辆整车质量估算系统的处理单元实现,处理单元通过计算车辆在行驶过程中摄像头捕捉到的白色虚线图形占据整个画面图片中的面积对货运车辆整车质量进行估算,只通过摄像头与软件系统即可进行整车质量数据,硬件成本非常低,而且摄像头可以使用车内其他辅助驾驶系统所带的摄像头,实现对车辆整车质量估算的物力成本基本为零。
