The present invention relates to a modified liquid diene rubber. Provided are: a modified liquid diene rubber which has excellent pumpability, liquid dripping resistance, and reactivity, and which is suitable for use in a sealing material, a bead filler, or the like, and which provides a cured product having excellent rubber elasticity; and a composition containing the modified liquid diene rubber. A modified liquid diene rubber (A) which has a functional group (a) derived from an acid anhydride and which satisfies all of the following requirements (I)-(III): (I) the functional group equivalent weight of the functional group (a) is in the range of 400-3,500 g/eq; (II) when measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), the number average molecular weight (Mn) in terms of polystyrene is in the range of 5,000-20,000; (III) the melt viscosity at 38 DEG C is 3 Pa.s or more, and the following X is 6100 K or more; x (K) is the slope of a straight line passing through two points, which are melt viscosities [eta] (Pa.s) at 38 DEG C and 60 DEG C measured using a Brookfield viscometer, when the two points are drawn in a graph having 1/T (K-1) as the horizontal axis and Ln [[eta]/(Pa.s)] as the vertical axis; (wherein T is temperature (K)).

    本发明涉及改性液体二烯系橡胶。提供泵送性、耐液体滴落性、和反应性优异、所得固化物的橡胶弹性也优异的适合用于密封材料、胎圈填料等的改性液体二烯系橡胶和包含该改性液体二烯系橡胶的组合物。改性液体二烯系橡胶(A),其具有源自酸酐的官能团(a)、满足全部下述(I)~(III)的要件,(I)官能团(a)的官能团当量处于400~3,500g/eq的范围;(II)用凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)测定时,聚苯乙烯换算的数均分子量(Mn)处于5,000~20,000的范围;(III)38℃下的熔融粘度为3Pa·s以上,下述X为6100K以上;X(K):将使用布氏粘度计测定的38℃和60℃下的熔融粘度η(Pa·s)这2点描点为以1/T(K‑1)作为横轴、以Ln[η/(Pa·s)]作为纵轴的图时通过这2点的直线的斜率;(其中,T为温度(K))。
