本发明公开了一种用于空间碎片超高速撞击防护的含能波阻抗梯度材料,所述含能波阻抗梯度材料在惰性金属组分材料的基础上,添加含能活性材料层作为组份材料。本发明中,通过波阻抗梯度匹配设计、冲击起爆阈值调节,将惰性金属材料与含能活性材料按照一定规律结合,使得新型复合材料在超高速撞击下既存在波阻抗梯度,也存在冲击起爆反应,两种作用共同促进弹丸的破碎、分散,从而实现防护能力的进一步提升,综合了波阻抗梯度与冲击起爆反应两种防护机理的新型高性能空间碎片防护材料,相同质量下具有更高的防护能力,可直应用于载人航天器及高价值卫星的空间碎片防护设计,确保我国在轨航天器长寿命、高可靠运行。
