The invention provides a helicopter undercarriage landing load measuring method. The method comprises the steps that at least ten strain gauges are pasted to the position of a wheel shaft; acquiring tension and compression strain, shear strain, bending strain and torsional strain of the strain gauge; determining a course load, a lateral load and/or a vertical load during landing of the helicopter undercarriage based on the tension and compression strain, the shear strain, the bending strain and the torsional strain of the strain gauges; according to the method, analysis and calculation of ground three-way loads transmitted to an undercarriage axle in a helicopter landing process are realized, a strain-to-load reverse derivation process is supplemented by traditional load-to-strain forward derivation, and interference of nonlinear superposition of combined loads on ground load calculation and solution is eliminated; and the position requirement that the strain gauges need to meet one-way load sensitivity is reduced, and good universality is achieved.
