The invention discloses a thermal load distribution design method of an electric heating anti-icing system, which comprises the following steps of: simulating air and a water drop flow field outside a heating coverage area based on a preset simulation condition to obtain a convective heat transfer coefficient and water drop impact mass of each grid unit of the heating coverage area; based on the preset target anti-icing temperature, the convective heat transfer coefficient and the water drop impact mass, the thermal load of the electric heating anti-icing system in each grid unit is calculated; based on the thermal load of each grid unit, determining the surface average anti-icing heat flow of each heating area in the plurality of heating areas; iteratively calculating the wall surface temperature for each grid unit based on the surface average anti-icing heat flow of each heating area until the wall surface temperature converges relative to the target anti-icing temperature; and under the condition that the wall surface temperature of each grid unit converges relative to the target anti-icing temperature, the finally determined surface average anti-icing heat flow of each heating area is obtained, so that the thermal load distribution of the electric heating anti-icing system is designed.
