The invention relates to a rear side member connecting piece and an automobile frame. The rear longitudinal beam connecting piece is applied to an automobile frame, the automobile frame comprises a bottom plate, a rear longitudinal beam and a rear cross beam, the rear longitudinal beam and the rear cross beam are connected to the same side of the bottom plate, a containing space is defined by the bottom plate, the rear longitudinal beam and the rear cross beam, the rear longitudinal beam connecting piece comprises a first end and a second end, and the first end comprises a first inner plate; the first inner plate is contained in the containing space and located on the surface of part of the bottom plate and the surface of the rear longitudinal beam. The second end part is connected with the first end part, the second end part comprises a second inner plate, and the second inner plate is accommodated in the accommodating space and is positioned on the surfaces of part of the bottom plate and the rear cross beam; wherein the bottom plate is recessed to form a first step and a second step, the end, connected with the bottom plate, of the first inner plate is located on the first step, the surface of the first inner plate is flush with the surface of the bottom plate, the end, connected with the bottom plate, of the second inner plate is located on the second step, and the surface of the second inner plate is flush with the surface of the bottom plate. In this way, the sealing performance of the containing space can be effectively ensured.
