In the method, since the real-time state characteristics in each period have a plurality of different battery characteristic data, that is to say, the plurality of different battery characteristic data of the battery in a plurality of periods are combined for analysis, so that whether the battery has a fault or not is predicted from the battery characteristics in a plurality of dimensions; and the accuracy of a battery fault prediction result is improved.
