The invention provides a method and system for remotely and wirelessly controlling an elevator, and the method comprises the steps: S1, loading elevator parameter configuration software to network communication equipment; s2, logging in elevator parameter configuration software by using the account password; s3, sending a request instruction for connecting the target elevator to the xenoliths cloud security server; s4, checking whether the account has the authority to connect the target elevator or not, if yes, executing the step S5, and if not, returning to the step S2; s5, a connection instruction is sent to the target Internet of Things elevator parameter configuration terminal, connection between the network communication equipment and the target Internet of Things elevator parameter configuration terminal is established, and target elevator parameters in the target Internet of Things elevator parameter configuration terminal are modified through the network communication equipment; and S6, the modified elevator parameters are written into the target elevator main controller. According to the method and the system for remotely and wirelessly controlling the elevator, the operation parameters of the elevator can be remotely modified through the network equipment.
