The invention provides a battery heating method and a battery heating device.The battery heating method comprises the steps that according to the battery temperature of a vehicle, the environment temperature and a meteorological temperature model, the awakening moment before the battery temperature is lower than a first preset temperature threshold value is determined, and the meteorological temperature model describes the change relation between the environment temperature and the moment; and controlling to heat the battery at the wake-up moment. By means of the method, the battery can be heated when the battery temperature is about to be lower than the first preset temperature threshold value, the awakening frequency of the vehicle is reduced while battery failure is avoided, and therefore the heating power consumption of the battery is reduced.
