The disclosure relates to a route selection device, a route selection method, and a computer-readable recording medium on which a route selection program is recorded. Provided is a technique that maintains smooth operation of a plurality of vehicles and contributes to preventing an increase in the labor cost of an operator. This route selection device predicts the generation of remote support for each vehicle on the basis of the currently selected route of each vehicle and the operating state of each vehicle, and predicts the overall operator's work rate on the basis of the prediction result of the generation of remote support for each vehicle. When the work rate is higher than the target range, the combination of the routes of all the vehicles monitored remotely is changed to a combination in which the support cost as a whole of the operator is lower than that of the currently selected combination. When the operating rate is lower than the target range, the combination of the routes of all the vehicles monitored remotely is changed to a combination in which the vehicle cost as a whole of the vehicles is lower than that of the currently selected combination.
