The invention provides a traffic congestion control method and device and a traffic edge server, and the technical scheme comprises the steps: when a signal machine of a first intersection obtains a congestion event of a departure lane m of the first intersection, the signal machine of the first intersection sends the congestion event to a signal machine of a second intersection, the second intersection is an upstream intersection corresponding to the arrival lane corresponding to the departure lane m in the first intersection; and the signal machines of the first intersection and the second intersection update respective signal timing strategies according to the congestion event of the departure lane m. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, when congestion early warning or congestion overflow occurs, the driving into the congested lane is reduced or forbidden, so that congestion dissipation is quickly carried out, and when the congestion disappears, each intersection is recovered to a normal signal timing strategy in time.

    本发明提供了一种交通拥堵控制方法、装置及交通边缘服务器,其技术方案包括:当第一路口的信号机获得第一路口的出发车道m的拥堵事件时,把该拥堵事件发送至第二路口的信号机,第二路口为在第一路口中与出发车道m对应的到达车道所对应的上游路口;第一路口和第二路口的信号机根据出发车道m的拥堵事件更新各自的信号配时策略。本发明的技术方案在发生拥堵预警或拥堵溢出时,通过减少或禁止驶入拥堵车道,以快速进行拥堵消散,并在拥堵消失时各路口及时恢复至正常的信号配时策略。
