A hull having a variable geometry for a vessel (11), the hull comprising: a fully submerged portion (12) configured to provide a partial buoyancy thrust and integral with an exposed portion (13) of the hull by means of one or more uprights (14); and one or more submerged wing-shaped surface members (15) configured to provide a remaining vertical thrust required to maintain the vessel (11) at a predetermined height above the water surface when the vessel travels at a sufficiently high speed; a hull (16) comprising one or more supports (16a, 16b, 16c) connected to the wing-shaped surface piece (15) and associated with floating elements (17a, 17b, 17c) movable relative to the fully submerged portion (12); the floating element (17a, 17b, 17c) is fixed to the support (16a, 16b, 16c) or movable relative to the support (16a, 16b, 16c), so that the floating element (17a, 17b, 17c) substantially cooperates with the fully submerged portion (12) and the wing-shaped surface piece (15); the wing-shaped surface piece (15) is configured to move or remain fixed relative to the full immersion portion (12), and the floating element (17a, 17b, 17c) is configured to increase its immersion degree as the speed of the vessel decreases, and thus provide a vertical thrust, in which the floating element (17a, 17b, 17c) is configured to move or remain fixed relative to the full immersion portion (12). In this way, the distance between the vessel and the water is maintained or adjusted in a manner that is optimized and practical for the use of the vessel, even at reduced speeds or when the vessel is at rest.
