The invention relates to the technical field of spaceflight, in particular to a tether releasing device applied to a space tether, which comprises an ejection component, the ejection component is fixedly connected with the space tether, a spool component and a brake component are sequentially and fixedly connected below the ejection component, the middle of the space tether penetrates through the spool component, and the tail end of the space tether is fixedly connected with the brake component.
