The invention relates to the technical field of ship construction, in particular to an adjusting mechanism of a light observation instrument. The adjusting mechanism of the light observation instrument comprises a support assembly and an adjusting assembly. The support assembly comprises a front seat frame, a joint ball head and a rear bracket, the front seat frame is connected with the rear bracket, and the joint ball head is rotatably arranged in the front seat frame. The front end of the light observation instrument is fixedly arranged in a through hole of the joint ball head in a penetrating mode, the front seat frame can be arranged in an inner hole of a stern tube of the ship, and the position of the front seat frame relative to the inner hole in the vertical direction and the left-right direction is adjustable. The adjusting assembly is arranged on the rear bracket and is in transmission connection with the rear end of the light observation instrument so as to adjust the positions of the rear end of the light observation instrument in the up-down direction and the left-right direction respectively. The front end of the light observation instrument is installed on the front seat frame through the joint ball head, when the adjusting assembly adjusts the rear end of the light observation instrument, the axis of the front end of the light observation instrument cannot deviate, the number of times of adjusting operation of the light observation instrument is reduced, the adjusting time is shortened, and the adjusting efficiency and the adjusting precision are improved.
