The invention provides a crane capable of preventing starting impact of a cross beam and a tension buffering structure of the crane, aiming at improving the instant tightening process of a steel wire rope when a lifting hook lifts a heavy object and eliminating the starting impact on the cross beam and power equipment during lifting, and comprising the lifting hook and the tension buffering structure for mounting the lifting hook, comprising a rhombic structure composed of an upper connecting piece, a lower connecting piece, a first supporting piece, a second supporting piece and four hinge rods, the first supporting piece and the second supporting piece are each provided with a connecting shaft, and the axial direction of each connecting shaft is perpendicular to the plane where the rhombic structure is located; two hydraulic cylinders are installed between the connecting shafts of the first supporting piece and the second supporting piece, and the two ends of each hydraulic cylinder are hinged to the same side ends of the connecting shafts of the first supporting piece and the second supporting piece respectively.
