The invention relates to a landing leg control system and method and a crane, and relates to the technical field of engineering machinery, the landing leg control system comprises an oil cylinder configured to drive a landing leg to move, and the oil cylinder is provided with a rodless cavity and a rod cavity; the pressure sensor is arranged in the rodless cavity, and the pressure sensor is configured to send out a pressure signal representing the pressure in the rodless cavity; the balance valve is connected with the rodless cavity, and the balance valve is configured to adjust the pressure in the rodless cavity by changing the opening degree of the balance valve; and the controller is in communication connection with the pressure sensor, and the controller is configured to receive the pressure signal and send out a control signal representing that the opening degree of the balance valve is adjusted to be within a first range when the pressure represented by the pressure signal is larger than a pressure threshold value. According to the landing leg control system and method and the crane, the problem of pressure building of the oil cylinder can be solved, the accuracy of the pressure in the rodless cavity is improved, and therefore the calculation accuracy of the reaction force on the landing leg is improved.
