The invention discloses a novel container ship side channel ventilation structure which comprises an upper ventilation pipe fixedly connected to a main deck, and the upper ventilation pipe is located above the main deck. The upper ventilation pipe does not penetrate through the main deck; an oval through hole is formed in the main deck and penetrates through an inner cavity of the upper ventilation pipe and the area below the main deck. A structural air pipe is arranged below the main deck, and the bottom of the structural air pipe is connected with a lower ventilation pipe. The structural air pipe is communicated with the upper ventilation pipe and the lower ventilation pipe. According to the invention, the stress distribution of the main deck opening can be effectively improved, the stress concentration is effectively reduced, and the structure is optimized; and the construction efficiency can be improved, the construction cost is reduced, and the construction is easier.
