A volute spring energy storage parking return mechanism applied to an electronic mechanical brake is characterized in that a ratchet wheel is an inner meshing type ratchet wheel, a volute spring is arranged on the inner side of the ratchet wheel, a supporting plate assembly is arranged on the outer side of the volute spring, a guide ring is embedded in the center of the supporting plate assembly, and the center of the guide ring is connected with a bearing; the guide ring penetrates through the center of the supporting plate assembly and the center of the spiral spring and is connected with the center of the ratchet wheel. Compared with the prior art, energy is stored through the volute spring, the first end of the volute spring is connected with the ratchet wheel, the second end of the volute spring is connected with the supporting plate assembly, and therefore the supporting plate assembly is connected to the output gear through the pin hole of the storage device, and the storage device absorbs the energy when the gear rotates anticlockwise along the application; the gear is rotatable relative to an application direction in a non-current state of the motor.
