The invention relates to a modularized pneumatic elevator structure and an operation method.The modularized pneumatic elevator structure comprises an elevator shaft, stand column guide rails arranged in the elevator shaft and a lift car which is arranged in the elevator shaft and slides up and down along the stand column guide rails, and the elevator shaft comprises a single-layer elevator shaft, a connecting ring, an elevator shaft top plate and an elevator shaft bottom plate; the single-layer elevator shaft is fixedly connected with the connecting ring; the lift car comprises a lift car top and a lift car bottom, the lift car top and the lift car bottom are fixedly connected through lift car stand columns, one piece of lift car vertical face glass is arranged between every two adjacent lift car stand columns, the lift car top sealing layer is fixedly connected with the lift car top through a connecting part, and the lift car bottom supporting layer is fixedly connected with the lift car bottom through a connecting part. A locking mechanism is installed at the lower end of the lift car bottom, and sliding grooves are formed in the lift car stand columns and are in contact fit with the stand column guide rails. According to the elevator shaft, modular design is adopted, and the elevator installation and construction efficiency is improved by additionally arranging the single-layer elevator shaft and the connecting rings.
