The invention provides a battery cooling heat exchanger for a new energy automobile. A cooling system comprises an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor and a solar module. The evaporator, the condenser and the compressor are connected to form a refrigerant circulation loop; the solar module is connected with the refrigerant circulation loop and is used for providing heat for a flowing refrigerant; the evaporator is connected with a battery of the new energy automobile and used for providing cooling capacity for the battery. By arranging the solar module, when the new energy automobile cools the battery, on one hand, electric energy supply can be conducted through a vehicle-mounted power source, on the other hand, heat energy preparation can be conducted through solar energy, the requirement for heat energy in the cold energy preparation process is met, user experience is guaranteed, and meanwhile energy consumption is reduced.
