A system may electronically train a vehicle to accommodate a driver. The system may train the vehicle to accommodate the driver's ability, conditions, and/or personality. The system may vary control of the vehicle to match a pattern of control generated by a predetermined model (e.g., a safe driver model) in response to input from the driver. The vehicle may appear to be driven by a safe driver. Driver with lower driving ability may apply physical control in a possibly slower, unstable, or insufficient mode. The vehicle may be trained to adjust a transition from a UI signal to a drive-by-wire signal such that the converted signal appears to be applied by a more competent driver on the road. The transformations may be improved over time by training via machine learning.
