    本发明公开了一种新能源汽车用充电连接器冷却装置及其冷却方法,涉及汽车充电连接器领域。一种新能源汽车用充电连接器冷却装置,包括充电枪、储液罐,所述储液罐通过膨胀螺栓固定安装在墙面上,所述储液罐上开设有透气孔,还包括:盖合在所述充电枪外壁的防护壳一、防护壳二;本发明,在充电枪使用过程中,需要对充电枪进行冷却降温时,通过导热管内的冷却液循环,从而能够达到对工作时的充电枪进行循环冷却降温,以及能够增加防护壳一、防护壳二组成的密封腔内的空气流动,从而对充电枪冷却降温的效果,并且在增加密封腔内空气流动时,能够确保进入密封腔内气体的干燥,从而提高充电枪的使用寿命以及更加有效的对充电枪进行冷却降温。
