The present invention describes a floating platform structure for the production, storage and handling of offshore crude oil, the hull being generally cylindrical or polygonal and containing a water ballast tank, an oil or liquefied gas storage tank. The ballast water system can be adjusted to control heaving, rolling, pitching and surging motions of the vessel to dynamically position and manipulate the motion of the vessel. The moon pool and other devices on the ship drilling platform provide additional mass to increase the natural cycle of rolling and heaving modes and reduce dynamic amplification and resonance caused by waves and ship motion. And a disconnectable rotary table buoy at the bottom of the moon pool is connected with the vertical pipe and the mooring rope.
